Alan Wright Stained Glass






  Alan Wright designs, and executes stained glass for churches, public buildings and private houses, specialising in kiln-fired, painted treatments, having been originally Fine Art trained, (Bristol), and subsquently trained in Architectural Stained Glass (Swansea).

  His most prestigious commission has been for York Minster, Heraldic panel, (Richard III).

  Alan Wright has also produced 14 new church windows, 3 for schools in the South East of England, and numerous private commissions.

  He has undertaken restoration and collaborative conservation work in the past, and now concentrates on new, individually designed work to commission.

  • Fanlight, Matthew Boulton Museum, Soho House, Birmingham, conserved and restored painted and stained elements (in collaboration with John Sambrook, fanlight maker and Penelope Winton, stained glass conservator)
