Situation & Aspect: St Catherines Chapel, SE corner of Minster, south facing.

Dimensions: Height 4.47m Width 2.28m

Brief: To design and make a stained glass panel (paid for by the Richard III Society, based in York) following heraldic principles, and incorporating white boars, to be complementary to the existing glass in the rest of the window.

Description: Royal coat of arms with a crown of the period. York with Rose and Sun symbols, supported by Boars on a Turf Base. Motto below roughly translates as "Loyalty binds me".

Materials & Techniques: All "Antique" mouth blown glass, heraldic shield flashed glass etched. Crown includes stain and ruby enamel. The white boars, which involved visual research on a wild boar farm, are partly 
 painted using very long brushes ("duck").
