Brief: To design high level window panels in new room set aside for quiet meditation, prayer or worship, and to create a feeling towards peace of mind without using particular traditional faith imagery or symbols.
Description: The inspiration was to centre on a light filled circular form with darker panels to the outside where light interacts, suggesting the body (left), and mind (right). The use of colour and light to create an aspiration for wholeness.
Materials & Techniques: Outer panels consisting of "flashed" red and blue glass to outer panels with etching to allow light through with kiln-fired glass paint and stain. The centre panel consisting of "semi-antique" glass with additional kiln-fired enamels and minimum use of narrow lead calmes.
