Situation & Aspect: West facing high level window in assembly hall.
Dimensions: 1.2M diameter.
Brief: To incorporate the logo of the school, depicting the image of a sailing boat with a Cross for the mast into a circular window.
Description:
The simple logo extends into sea and air.
Materials & Techniques: The sail, boats, sky and wave crests consist of 'pot metal' and 'tints' in mouthblown glass. The hull of the boat and body of the sea consists of 'sahara' and 'waterglass'.
The leads are in varying widths with tapered widths for the outline of the boat and sail, by means of a small hand plane before leading.
